The project is for the replacement of two emergency diesel-powered generators at City Hall and at The Centre. The replacement generator at The Centre facility will be of a similar size and type. The replacement generator at City Hall will be an increased capacity to handle a larger electrical load in a more reliable manner. The project also includes asphalt-resurfacing of the rear Civic Center Parking Lot and other minor civil improvements. Other public agencies whose approval for this project may be required include the City of Lakewood and South Coast Air Quality Mangement District.
