Lumen Company proposes the construction of two handholes (48 inch by 48 inch) in the landscaping area within Caltrans right-of-way for the installation of the Middle Mile Broadband mile broadband conduits. The proposed project will conduct horizontal directional drilling method under Santa Fe Ave. which is part of City of Long Beach and City of Carson right-of-way. The encroachment location is by the LA-405 northbound on-ramp at post-mile (PM) 8.08 in Los Angeles County. Maximum depth of excavation is 7.5 feet.
