Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company (AT&T California) to repair and raise a manhole lid and its frame (MH# 9049) to grade within Caltrans right-of-way (ROW) along Interstate (I) 110 at post mile (PM) 19.53, as well as perform traffic control activities within the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. The proposed work will involve excavation of soil outside the shoulder of the east side of the southbound I-110 off-ramp to access the manhole. AT&T is requesting a temporary encroachment permit to access Caltrans ROW at PM 19.53 to complete the above-mentioned work. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches and minimum depth of 42 inches, with an average width of 48 inches and length of 4 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new ROW will be acquired.
