The Proposed Project consists of the operation of an outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation operation located within an approximate 2 acre fenced area on a 30.84 acre parcel. The Proposed Project would encompass four separate 10,000 square feet outdoor canopy plots for a total of 40,000 square feet mature canopy. Immature plants would be delivered to the site from a licensed commercial cannabis nursery facility to the commercial cannabis cultivation site and planted in fabric pots that sit on top of the ground in the designated canopy areas. Following harvest, harvested plants would be immediately transferred offsite to a licensed cannabis facility for further processing (e.g., drying, trimming, packaging, etc.). There are no structures in the commercial cannabis cultivation area, and no construction activities or site modifications such as grading, new roads, vegetation removal, and new drainage systems are required for the Proposed Project. The Proposed Project would receive water from the Penngrove Water Company for irrigation and is not connected to the utility grid.
