Document Description
Caltrans proposes to repair a damaged bridge rail in Imperial County along Interstate 8 (I-8) at the Colorado River Bridge (Bridge No. 58-0286) because the construction and control efforts required to repair the bridge rail is beyond Caltrans’ Maintenance capacity. The repair work includes securing the site with temporary k-rail, and repairing other damages discovered during construction as needed. Construction Area Signs & Traffic Control System will be in place for the safety of the traveling motorist. The road is currently open with shoulder closure.
