Document Description
The MWSD SAM WWTP Electrical System Relocation Project (project) includes several components to improve safety and strengthen resilience during extreme weather events. The elevation of existing MB1 is 14.88 feet above sea level, making it susceptible to flooding. The proposed new location of MB1 would ensure that vulnerable and critical electrical equipment would be located above the estimated flood level of a 500-year event, reducing the risk of the WWTP’s failure from flooding. These proposed activities are part of emergency repairs and include moving equipment from the site’s lowest elevation in the western corner, to the site’s eastern area, next to the gate and parking lot.
