Document Description
Department of Water Resources (DWR) staff will repair a large erosion along the outer slope of the primary side of the California Aqueduct at Fink Road. The loose, eroding soil will be removed, backfilled, and compacted with fill material to stabilize the bank, then covered with rip rap using an excavator, backhoe, sheep’s foot roller, and water truck. It is estimated that 2 dump trucks of dirt and/or aggregate base will be used to fill the erosion. All access and work is within DWR right of way.
