Document Description
The Alameda County Public Works Agency project includes repairing asphalt concrete base failure: surface grinding and removal within key cut limits; conforming gravel shoulders to the new roadway elevations; overlaying asphalt concrete surface; and installing new roadway signage and striping. The project will be on Palomares Rd in Castro Valley between Palo Verde Rd to Palomares Rd MM 2.28 and then Palomares Rd MM 2.57 to MM 4.50; on Vasco Rd between MM 4.20 and Contra Costa County Limits (MM 5.79); and on Byron Bethany Rd between Contra Costa County Limits and San Joaquin County Limits. The project will incorporate all BMP/water pollution control measures and traffic control as part of the project. All work will be done within existing road right-of-way. The purpose of the project is to maintain the road pavement conditions.
