Document Description
The Project is located at 2000 Red Hill Road (Trinity APN 012-270-50-00) in Junction City, CA. The parcel is zoned for rural residential 2.5 acre minimum (RR 2.5). The project consists of up to 10,000 ft² of existing mixed light cannabis cultivation. All support buildings for cannabis cultivation are existing. The proposed alteration to the existing project includes the installation of up to four (4) greenhouses within the existing footprint. Water for the project is provided from an on-site groundwater well. An on-site septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs. Access to the project site is via a private access road that turns off Red Hill Road. The project is consistent with the Trinity Cannabis Program. The project would require discretionary approval by the Trinity County Planning Department.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
