Under Class 1: Project consists of the operation, maintenance, repair, permitting, leasing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. There is no substantial evidence demonstrating that a historical resources exemption to a categorical exemption pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2 applies.
Under Class 31: project is limited to maintenance, repair, stabilization, rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, conservation or reconstruction of historical resources in a manner consistent with Secretary of Interior standards for the treatment of historic properties with guidelines for preserving, rehabilitating, restoring, and reconstructing historic buildings.
