Document Description
Notice of Exemption pursuant to CEQA Section 15301, Class 1 and Section 15302, Class 2. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is proposing to replace a guy power pole that was struck and downed in the Caltrans Right-of-Way at the on-ramp interchange at the Edenhurst Ave./Colorado St. freeway exit. LADWP will use a digger derrick, bucket truck, and foreman truck to dig an approximately 6.5 feet deep and 13-inch diameter hole, and set the new 45-foot tall pole. The guy power pole is required to provide structural support for existing power distribution infrastructure in the area. All equipment will be staged on sparsely vegetated areas within the right-of-way, and will not require vegetation removal.
