Document Description
The purpose of this project is to improve pedestrian safety and reduce vehicle
miles traveled by filling in the gap between Cinnamon Drive and Freedom Drive by constructing sidewalks, curb and gutters, residential and industrial driveways, and street lights. Buffered bike lanes with flexible delineators and updated striping, signage, and markings will be implemented with the shoulder paving of 19th Avenue to protect bicyclists that would travel to and from Freedom Elementary.

This project is exempt because the construction activities proposed will mirror the existing facilities present on the west side of 19th Avenue. The major components of this project will be sidewalks, curb and gutters, road widening to accommodate buffered bike lanes, street lights, updated signing, striping, and markings.
