The Project would construct a parking lot at Sun Empire Elementary School, across N Modoc Avenue. The project site is an empty dirt lot adjacent to Sun Empire Elementary School, N. Modoc Avenue, a Fresno Irrigation District irrigation canal and groundwater recharge basin, and agricultural properties. The Project would construct an approximately one-acre parking lot including approximately 96 parking stalls, security lighting, tree/landscape planters, and an underground stormwater infiltration system for Project drainage.

No exceptions to the use of a categorical exemption apply pursuant to Section 15300.2.
