Document Description
This temporary permit allows for diversion of high flows to underground storage of up to 3,426 acre-feet from the Shasta River (tributary to the Klamath River) located in Siskiyou County during high flow events. The permit allows diversion from the date of issuance through March 31, 2026 at a maximum rate of 40 cubic feet per second from one point of diversion to underground storage within the Grenada Irrigation District (GID) service area. The stored water will be used for irrigation and domestic purposes within the GID service area.
