Document Description
The project proposes the replacement of existing deteriorated livestock fence with new wildlife-friendly livestock fence to contain cattle for fire fuel control on the Knoxville Wildlife Area. A lack of vegetation management has resulted in previous high intensity wildland fires that have decimated mature oak forests which has reduced local wildlife food supply. The fence alignment to be replaced lies on both sides and is adjacent to Berryessa-Knoxville Rd.
