Document Description
The project is a simple fee-title acquisition of vacant land to expand existing public park lands. The intent of the acquisition is to purchase one parcel consisting of 2.75 acres of land adjacent to Ramona Municipal Water District's existing Ramona Community Park (formerly Wellfield Park). Pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act, the District has determined that the proposed property purchase meets the criteria for eligibility under a categorical exemption pursuant to California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 15316 (a) ownership of land in order to create parks (Class 16) and under section 15325(f) acquisition, sale, or other transfer to preserve open space or lands for park purposes (Class 25).
