PRC Section 21084; CEQA Guidelines Sections 15300-15333 CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 - Existing Facilities

Subsection C includes existing highways and streets, sidewalks, gutters, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and similar facilities (this includes road grading for the purpose of public safety), and other alterations that do not create additional automobile lanes. The project will be completed within the existing road rights-of-way and will not require the removal of structures, vegetation or trees. The project will result in the continued use of the existing facilities with little or no expansion of use and is therefore exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
