Document Description
The project is an existing small outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation operation located at 3940 Wildwood Rd in southeastern Trinity County (APN 019-690-011). The site is accessed via a short private gravel driveway/access road off Wildwood Rd. Existing onsite improvements include a residence, a barn, a composting area, a shed, a groundwater well, and three water storage tanks. The existing cultivation area is composed of forty (40) 6-foot wide, 72-foot long, and 6-foot-tall rudimentary hoop-house structures, totaling 17,280 sq ft. Twenty-three (23) of the 6’x72’ (432 sq ft) rudimentary hoop-house structures comprise the operations 9,936 sq ft canopy area, while the remaining seventeen (17) are designated as immature plant areas.

The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
