Document Description
The City of Chico proposes to install seven (7) Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) devices at three (3) signalized locations on existing traffic signal and streetlight poles. The devices are solar powered and communicate with cell modems, so no utility connection or ground disturbance is required. An encroachment permit from Caltrans will be required.

Therefore, the City finds that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with CEQA Section 15301 (c).
