Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is exempt from CEQA based on its conformity with Section 15302 (c) of the CEQA Guidelines. This exemption consists of the replacement of an existing pipeline where the new pipeline will be within the Public Right of Way of Cassou Road, Lindy Way, Edwin Lane and Sunny Vista Lane and within the District’s Blanket Easement No. B6 and will have the same purpose and capacity as the facilities being replaced. The replacement of the existing utility system and/or facilities involve negligible or no expansion of capacity.
