Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade. The project will evaluate, design, and develop documents necessary to address the District’s Time Schedule Order R5-2020-0901, for compliance with final effluent limitations for total ammonia and pH. The Time Schedule Order requires the District to monitor and evaluate ammonia and pH in effluent, develop and implement alternatives for total ammonia and pH control, and construct new treatment controls and/or modify the existing treatment process.
