Document Description
The proposed Caltrans project aims to reset the lifecycle of signal locations along SR-94, by replacing and installing signal features. The project activities will include signal head assembly; replacement of all conductors and metal or ‘over 35% full’ conduits; installation of loop signals, touchless Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) & countdown PED heads (pedestrian countdown signals), intersection cameras and signal performance measurement data collection system (GridSmart); addition of new ethernet communications to signals; and assembly of electrical cabinets and controllers. All work to be performed will be in Caltrans Right-of-Way (ROW).
