Document Description
Project proposes the replacement of damaged portions of the parking lot at the Depot Store in Railtown 1897 State Historic Park to provide visitors and park staff with a safe and functional driving surface. Work will occur in two (2) sections (A and B) and result in the installation of 17,100 square feet of new asphalt.
In Section “A”, work will grind and remove 3,500 square feet of uneven asphalt to a depth of approximately 3- inches and install a 2.5-inch-thick layer of new asphalt covering approximately 9,783 square feet.
In Section “B”, work will grind 7,252 sq ft of uneven asphalt, install paving fabric and overlay a 2-inch-thick layer of new asphalt.
Work will also stripe the newly asphalted areas for 24 new standard parking stalls and two (2) ADA-compliant parking stalls and install four (4) wheel stops.
