Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit requested by Rookie Productions Inc. for the filming of ‘The Rookie’ one-hour TV show. Filming includes a full closure of E. 15th St under I-10 (PM17.02) between Long Beach Ave. and Alameda St. Filming activity will include exterior establishing shots, simulated muzzle flashes inside car, a drive-up scene where a body is disposed of and driven away, and a crime scene investigation. No ground disturbance will be necessary. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
