Reasons for Exemption
This action is consistent with Section 15303, Class 3 pertaining to New Construction or Conversion of Existing Structures. Under AE-40 (Exclusive Agriculture - 40 Acre Minimum) zoning, which allows for additional residences and mobilehomes if occupied by relatives of the owner or lessee, farmworkers or employees who work on the property. In this instance, the addition of a second residence on a legally created parcel. Therefore, the application of CEQA Section 15303, Class 3 is applicable and appropriate for this project.
