Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for American Dark Fiber LLC to install 498 feet of underground high-density polyethylene conduit with fiber optic cable and 36-inch-wide by 60-inch-long by 36-inch-deep vaults in Caltrans right-of-way on State Route (SR)101 at post mile 19.23. Work includes placement of temporary traffic control devices and signage, as well as performing associated temporary traffic control activities in the City of Encino, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 498 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
