Document Description
Project to reset the life cycle of the census system at 3 locations in Imperial County. There is (1) location on SR-111 at postmile 57.625 and (2) locations on SR-115 at postmiles 34.964 and 21.17. Project work consists of installation of 334LS controller cabinet, EMU3B counter and pull boxes. Ground disturbance will occur during the installation of the new concrete pad and foundation for the new cabinets. The foundation covers approx. 0.565 cubic yards and should be no deeper than 2 to 3 feet. The pad has an area of 34.846 sq ft, the foundation covers approx. 5.779 sq ft, and the pull boxes are approx. 2-3 feet deep. Additionally, project work will include replacing the existing loop detection system and solar battery, pavement disturbance is anticipated for accessing existing looping.
