Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit for Southern California Edison (SCE) to perform traffic control activities needed for the crew to access one existing vault to upgrade equipment, trench approximately 1451 feet of cable to install duct and cable on State Route (SR)118 at postmile R23.01 in the City of Simi Valley, County of Ventura. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 1451 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
