Reasons for Exemption
The proposed 59-unit residential condominium development is exempt from further CEQA review pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15182, as it conforms to the Pomona Corridors Specific Plan (PCSP), for which an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was certified by the City Council in March 2014. The project was contemplated and evaluated in that EIR. None of the conditions under CEQA Guidelines Section 15162 apply: No substantial project changes involving new or more severe significant environmental effects. No substantial changes in circumstances requiring major EIR revisions. No new information of substantial importance indicating unaddressed or more severe effects. Based on these findings, no additional environmental review is required.
