Document Description
Caltrans proposes to perform guardrail improvement project on State Route 94 and West of Bancroft Drive in San Diego County. Project scope of work consists of removing the existing guardrail and replacing with a new guardrail system that meets current Caltrans standards and specs. The new guardrail's length will be 125 ft to shield the bridge column. The project also includes installing MGS Buried Post End Anchor, end concrete barrier, removing and installing new dike as instructed by TIR. Ground drilling or driving of the guardrail system and guardrail posts will require up to 5 ft depth of ground disturbance by machine or by potholing. Existing guardrail posts will be removed and backfilled as per standard specs.
