Document Description
Santa Clara County Roads and Airports Department, in partnership with the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, proposes to restore wildlife passage primarily for California newts, as well as other amphibian and reptile species and small to mid-sized mammals, across Alma Bridge Road. The restoration measures, or Corrective Actions, will be installed underneath the existing roadway of Alma Bridge Road, or as part of sections of elevated roadway, within the existing road prism. The project area is along approximately 1.47 miles of Alma Bridge Road along Lexington Reservoir, south of the Town of Los Gatos and north of the unincorporated area of Lexington Hills, in Santa Clara County.
