On December 17, 2025, the Laguna Woods City Council adopted Resolution No. 25-40 titled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAGUNA WOODS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIFTH AMENDMENT OF THE AGREEMENT WITH CR&R INCORPORATED FOR SOLID WASTE HANDLING SERVICES, AND DETERMINING AND CERTIFYING THAT THE FIFTH AMENDMENT IS EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT The resolution approves and authorizes the execution of a Fifth Amendment of the agreement with CR&R Incorporated for solid waste handling services. The Fifth Amendment removes the requirement for CR&R Incorporated to procure and maintain Cyber Technology Errors and Omissions insurance, which the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority (“CJPIA”) has advised the City is unnecessary due to the services provided.
