Document Description
The District proposes to develop an approximately 80-acre recharge facility known as the London West Pond located northwest of the community of London in Tulare County. The Project site lies immediately west of the existing London Pond recharge facility. The new 80-acre basin would consist of multiple cells and would connect to the existing Kennedy Schoolhouse Ditch pipeline, which would be replaced with an open ditch through the site. The proposed Project also includes construction of a diversion structure, turnouts, and a spillway, on the east side of the property to allow for spill to the existing London Pond recharge facility. Two existing wells on the Project site would be available for use as recovery or monitoring wells.
