Document Description
Project propose to complete repairs to the historic Main Street Firehouse in Columbia State Historic Park to make the building safe for use as a future exhibit space. Work will:
• Fill and level a crack in the concrete floor;
• Remove an existing wood and metal ‘viewing cage’ at the north-west corner of the building and repair/fill any holes left in the concrete floor;
• Remove two (2) existing bare bulb interior light fixtures and install two (2) 6-light interior light fixtures;
• On the exterior, remove an existing “ENGINE COMPANY” sign;
• Replace trim/moulding and repaint using in-kind colors; and
• Use in-kind hardware to reinstall the sign.
