Project consists of installing reliable internet service and a small number of cameras at Pigeon Point Lighthouse in Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park to support interpretation, operations, and public engagement. Work will use a wall mount to install a Starlink dish on roof of the fog signal building, remove an existing camera on the hostel and install one (1) camera on the hostel that allows California State Parks staff direct access to the video feed, which will enhance operational awareness, visitor safety, and peace officer response capabilities. A second camera will be installed facing the lighthouse to enable the public to livestream the lighthouse on the Coastside State Parks Association website.
