Document Description
The Ag Aquifer Storage & Recovery (ASR) Project will involve the installation of a water service connection from the surface water source at Elder Creek to the Ag ASR well field allowing direct recharge of surface water into the aquifer system. The Project will use existing surface water rights for on-going groundwater recharge to achieve sustainable groundwater use. The project will involve replacement of a pump at an existing surface water diversion point and the installation of a pipeline connecting the diversion point to three (3) existing groundwater wells. This action covers the construction-related project activities .related to Red Bluff GSP implementation activities to achieve long term groundwater sustainability in the Subbasin.
