Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Outdoor commercial cannabis license. The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 5,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 019-750-005-000. Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 3,930sqft mature canopy in two (2) 20'x98' greenhouses (each with three (3) rows of 5'x95' raised beds), and also including two (2) 6'x90' raised beds hoop rows. Existing support infrastructure is approved to include one (1) 6'x90' raised bed hoop row for immature canopy, a 15'x15' cannabis waste compost area, a permitted onsite groundwater well, a 1,000-gallon and 500-gallon water storage tank, a20'x24' building for ag chemical storage, admin hold area and another 20'x24' building for processing, harvest storage. Power for the project is provided by TPUD and there is a permitted onsite septic system to serve the project's wastewater needs.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
