Document Description
DWR staff and Contractor will repair cracks and spalls at the Thermalito Power Canal structure. The Bay 3 breastwall support will be repaired by constructing and installing stainless steel brackets. Spalls will be cleaned and repaired using a cementitious repair mortar that is approved for wet applications. Compressible filler will be added between the repair mortar and the underside of the breastwall. The hoist deck will be repaired by filling the existing gap between the top of the breastwall and bottom of the deck with non-shrink grout. All staging and work is within DWR right of way.
