Document Description
The Project will consist of cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 019-590-004-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-849) and is also seeking an Adult Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC). Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 7,246 of mature canopy in (26) 4'x7', (94) 7'x7', and (7) 7'x13' existing canopy areas and proposed installation of (51) 5'x5' canopy areas. Existing support infrastructure is approved include a 20'x20' composting area; two (2) 8'x20' shipping containers for harvest storages; a 6'x8' shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; a 3'x8' shed for petroleum storage; an 8'x12' and 1O'x12' shed for processing and harvest storage; a permitted onsite groundwater well; and a 5,000-gallon water storage tank. Proposed activities are approved to include installation of three (3) 6'x50' hoop houses for immature plants and also additional mature canopy on previously disturbed area as detailed above. There is a permitted onsite septic system to serve the project's wastewater needs and power for the project is provided by solar array and generator less than 50hp.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
