Document Description
The City of Ontario is updating four Utility Master Plans: Water Master Plan, Recycled Water Master Plan, Sewer Master Plan, and Drainage Master Plan. These updates build upon the previous plans adopted in 2012. The updated Master Plans propose: (1) upgrading pipelines and related infrastructure to support projected growth in Ontario (refer to Table 3.2-2); (2) replacing aging infrastructure that has reached the end of its service life; (3) expanding water storage capacity for both routine operations and emergency needs, and improving pressure throughout the water distribution system; (4) enhancing flood protection measures under the Drainage Master Plan; and (5) expanding the distribution of recycled water to increase its use citywide.
