Approval of the map is an administrative activity that has no potential for resulting in physical change in the environment through the approval of the preferred Citywide Land Use Map. The map will be analyzed through the preparation and certification of an Environmental Impact Report that fully discloses and evaluates environmental impacts as a result of the General Plan Update. Approval of this project provides a basis for completing the environmental review associated with the General Plan Update project. The current approval does not have legally binding effects on later activities.
