Document Description
The California Department of Water Resources is proposing to install new continuously operating Global Navigation Satellite System stations at two sites in Madera County. The stations will continuously measure the three-dimensional position at the site with the focus of monitoring for vertical movement; land subsidence. These monitoring stations will play an important role in groundwater monitoring under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

the California Environmental Quality Act, and will not impact any environmental resources, including scenic resources, cultural resources, or special status species. The Project would not result in any significant impacts to the environment.
