Document Description
The purpose of the project is to test the fracture critical weld joints of the T1 steel girders and make repairs to said weld joints found with voids. The need for the project is to respond to FHWA’s nationwide mandate to test and affirm if there are any weld anomalies in a class of bridges that utilized T1 steel girders in a fracture critical configuration.
