Document Description
The proposed Project consists of replacing the existing Parkville Road bridge with a new bridge that meets current design criteria. Widening the bridge and roadway approaches, replacing the bridge railings with steel, and adding approach guardrails are needed to accommodate current traffic volumes and to comply with current Shasta County and American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials standards. The Project proposes to replace the existing bridge with a single-span, 102-foot-long by 27.5-foot-wide, reinforced concrete cast-in-place post-tensioned box girder bridge.
