Reasons for Exemption
Class 3 consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures, including accessory (appurtenant) structures. The project consists of allowing a second cargo container in the interior side yard of an existing residential lot. The 2.02-acre property is developed with two residences containing no garage; the proposed cargo container will be used for personal storage by the owners; an accessory use to the main land use. Therefore, the project is exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
