Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a small outdoor commercial cannabis license. The Project will consist of cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APNS): 019-390-010-000 and 019-390-011-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-850) and is also seeking an Adult Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC). Cultivation activities are approved to include up to 9,984sqft of mature canopy with (114) 5'x5' boxes for mature canopy (6'x6' canopy areas) on APN 019-390- 010 and (120) 5'x5' boxes for mature canopy (7'x7' canopy areas) on APN 019-390-011. Existing support infrastructure is approved to include a permitted onsite groundwater well, 10'x10' cannabis waste composting area, two (2) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks; a 300-gallon nutrient storage tank; a 10'x12' shed for harvest storage; a 20'x40' building and a 30'x40' building for post-harvest processing; a 20'x30' and two (2) 6'x40' hoop houses for immature canopy; a 12'x20' shed for post-harvest processing, agricultural chemical storage and a 2'x2' shed for petroleum storage. There is a permitted septic system to serve the project's waste water needs and power for the project is provided by solar system, generators less than 50hp.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
