Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is considered a minor addition to an existing school, will occur within existing school grounds, and does not increase original student capacity by more than 25 percent or ten classrooms. The project replaces an existing modular classroom with a new classroom building located in the interior of the established Rosary Academy campus. The building will be constructed entirely within the existing school property. The project does not increase enrollment and will not result in increased enrollment, as campus enrollment remains capped at 720 students. The proposed minor addition is also within the ten-classroom limit.
