Document Description
Caltrans approves the encroachment permit for Pacific Bell Telephone Company d/b/a AT&T to access a utility pole to excavate 10 sq ft and place a new ground bed adjacent to the pole within Caltrans right-of-way. The ground bed consists of placement and direct burial of ground wire (#6 AWG bare copper wire) from SCE/AT&T jointly owned pole interconnected to two new 5/8 inch diameter, 8-foot-long, copper grounding rods. Copper grounding rods to be pneumatically driven in the ground with a minimum of 42 inches of cover, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities at post mile (PM) 31.38 on State Route150 in the City of Santa Paula, County of Ventura. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 48 inches, an average width of 12 inches, and a maximum length of 10 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
