Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SMO-61382-R3), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant, San Mateo County Department of Public Works.
The project involves stabilizing a road slip out on the left bank of La Honda Creek directly upstream from Entrada Way, including removal of rock boulders placed during an emergency action in 2017 and construction of an engineered log cribwall structure along the lower bank with vegetated soil lifts on the upper slopes above the cribwall. The existing culvert concrete headwall parallel to the Entrada Way roadway will be extended approximately 22 linear feet toward the left bank. The creek thalweg will be repositioned to be in line with the existing culvert. At the downstream end of the culvert, a new stormwater drainage feature will be installed, with a HDPE pipe conveying road runoff flows to the stream.
