516 South Mission Road (1400, 1418, 1426, 1442, E. 4th Street, 501, 515 S. Anderson Street, 516, 524, 550, 560 S. Mission Road, 1430, 1431 E. Willow Street, Los Angeles California 90033 and 1600 and 1601 E. 6th Street, Los Angeles, California 90023). The Project includes the merger of 12 lots and the re-subdivision into three (3) lots. The project also includes all associated street improvements, utility adjustments, and access modifications necessary to implement the subdivision. The subject site is currently developed with movie studios, sound stages, and offices, and the project does not propose any new construction or new development resulting in added floor area. The decision denies the vacation and merger of Willow Street between Mission Road and Anderson Street and dismisses without prejudice the vacation of 6th Street between Mission Road and Anderson Street. The decision also dismisses without prejudice the requested waivers from Dedications and Improvements on 6th Street, Mission Road, and Anderson St. There are 21 trees on and adjacent to the Project Site including 12 street trees within the public right-of-way and 9 non-protected trees on the Project Site. All existing trees are proposed to be retained and protected in place.
